Cimbalino's Napoleon Street outlet makes a whopping 7000 coffees a week. If you’ve ever tasted its brew, made from Typika beans roasted one suburb over in Claremont, then that number won’t surprise you.
It’s a light roast with hints of chocolate and caramel, and it’s great with or without milk. It’s made with a handsome burgundy La Marzocco machine. In the warmer months there’s also a 16-hour cold drip on offer. The Napoleon Street cafe has extensive seating, which spills out onto the footpath (a great spot for people watching) and covered laneway.
For breakfast, you might go for almond and cranberry bircher muesli with fruit compote, Greek yoghurt and green apple, or classic avo on toast. Any meal is best when paired with a juice or its consistently good coffee.
