The Tenth State
Emma Dodds is a perfectionist. At The Tenth State she serves a house blend of Five Senses coffee from a shiny Synesso and sources only the best and trendiest food in town: TopDup doughnuts, banh mi from Mama Tran, gourmet Lamingtons by Sugar Hound and raw treats from the Naked Bakery and Rawlicious.
Despite a hospitality background, she also spent 10 months (not nine or 11) working at The Tenth State before taking the reins, so she could hit the ground running.
When she’s not chatting with customers, you’ll find her in one of the shop’s three cosy, plant-filled rooms, tidying the merchandise,which she hand selects on buying trips to Melbourne and elsewhere.
