LaBuda Juice Bar
Features
Necessity is the mother of invention. Or at least that’s what Jasmine Hyde and Jarrad Read believe. The owners of LaBuda Juice Bar had thought about opening a health-focused cafe for five years. When a spot became vacant on Flora Terrace the couple jumped on the opportunity. It opened in February 2017.
Filled with natural light, beachside furnishings and locally made timber furniture, LaBuda’s aesthetic was inspired by Cafe Organic in Bali.
Juice combinations span the flavour spectrum from green to vegetable; the Cold Killa (carrot, ginger, apple, lemon and pepper) has emerged as an early crowd favourite. Juices are cold-pressed to order and adventurous drinkers can make their own combinations. Loaded smoothie bowls spiked with protein powder offer something more substantial. The coffee is supplied by local roaster Micrology.
Food options include daily salads and homemade, raw vegan treats such as granola slices, Snickers slices and brownies. Through winter, soup, porridge and toasties are also available.
