Foam Coffee Bar

Thursday
7:00am - 10:00pm
130 Oxford Street Leederville 6007

Foam Coffee Bar is the product of Nicholas Bond, who also owns Kitsch Bar and Ria Malay Kitchen. He has a passion for reviving the old-school feel of the Oxford Street strip, but had a big job with this one considering it replaced the extremely popular Cafe 130.

With a whole new vision for the old favourite, everything from the floor up has been restored. Dark wooden floorboards, pops of mint and fluoro pink, funky takeaway cups, wall-mounted sharks and even a few deer heads floating about give Foam its character. It comfortably lives up to its predecessor.

As for the coffee, the brew is a rather punchy Five Senses blend named Dark Horse, which is served with Bannister Downs milk. The menu includes breakfast, lunch and a selection of baked goods that are either made in-house or purchased from local boutique suppliers.

Top Dup Donuts are one of the hot favourites, providing a selection of over-filled specialty doughnuts. Foam boasts a few family recipes on its menu also, including a French chocolate cake.

Being open from 7am until 10pm is without a doubt a huge contributor to Foam’s success. With a hassle-free vibe and a “come and go as you please” style service, this place is never quiet.
