The home of Victoria Park bar Daddy Long Legs has had many identities – The Publican, DB’z and The Opal, to name just three. The second venture from the owners of Fremantle small bar Who’s Your Mumma saw the venue completely renovated with a strong WA vibe, from the timber-heavy fitout to its food and drink menus.

Beers on tap include brews from Young Henrys, Mash, Feral, Gage Roads and Nail. Promising a more sophisticated offering than Who’s Your Mumma, Daddy Long Legs’ cocktail menu was developed by head barman Pete Van Zeller, formerly of The Classroom and Must Winebar.

Chef Josh Skipworth, formerly of Fremantle small bars Strange Company and Percy Flint, has written a contemporary menu utilising miso, pickling and other Asian influences. Substantial meals are offered alongside more share-friendly dishes including bar snacks, charcuterie and cheese plates. Only local, line-caught seafood is used in the kitchen.
