Cottesloe salon owner Alison Jade and her namesake makeup range are making their international debuts at this month’s New York Fashion Week. Jade has been appointed as the makeup director for the New York Fashion Week Fashion Palette show and will be using her mineral makeup products to create a number of catwalk looks for the shows.
“Fashion Palette is a wonderful platform for Australian designers to show and grow their brand worldwide,” says Jade. “As an Australian cosmetics brand, we want to support our fellow Aussies on the world stage as we continue to grow our own business. It's a privilege for us to be able to collaborate with young and upcoming designers and showcase their talents alongside our own.”
In addition to her involvement in New York, Jade has also been appointed makeup director at Fashion Palette’s Dubai show in November. Fashion Palette was established in 2009 to help Australian designers break into international markets. Bec & Bridge, Steven Khalil and Toni Maticevski are among the home-grown labels to showcase their spring/summer 17 and bridal collections at Fashion Palette.
