Nashdale Lane Glamping

Tuesday
12pm – 4pm
125 Nashdale Lane, Nashdale

If you’re after an elevated version of glamping, look no further than Nashdale Lane. These tents come fully equipped with a kitchen, a front porch, a barbeque and even a fireplace. It’s perfectly safe, though; a flue bends and travels through the back of the tent and disperses toasty warmth throughout the tent.

When you pull back the tent screen each morning you’ll overlook the shiraz block with the pinot gris grapes on your right side with a view straight up to Mount Canobolas.

You can order a barbeque meal pack to be there for when you arrive, or you can grab dinner two minutes away at some of the best restaurants in the region. The tents are also a 20-metre walk from the Nashdale Lane Cellar Door – a converted old apple-packing shed. With high ceilings, upcycled furniture, and the original corrugated iron and concrete floors intact, the tasting experience feels refined but casual.

If you do a full tasting before heading back to your tent, you’ll be handed a tasting card. Each of the varieties is colour-coded and the tasting card keeps it playful and accessible whatever your experience. Wine aficionados and novices alike will enjoy the notes on what each wine evokes – white linen, people-watching and Italian streets.

Be sure to pick up a bottle of the Fumé Blanc – an oak-aged spin on sauvignon blanc – to take home with you.
