This cafe in Orange’s museum precinct is beloved by both locals and tourists – most mornings, the queue runs out the door and every table is packed. Groundstone makes all its food on site using local produce – think simple fare like fresh burgers, sandwiches, salads, health bowls, corn fritters, and more. The coffee here is made from a special blend prepared by local roaster Bills Beans.

The space is inviting, with Scandinavian-inspired design (a neutral black-and-white palette, a timber ceiling and an indoor plant wall) and plenty of natural light. It’s also licensed from 10am, with a small list of local wines and beers.
