Whether or not you’re embarking on its famous Great Walk, the Abel Tasman National Park is a natural playground. And this purpose-built one-bedroom villa is a contemporary, high-spec spot to catch up on some well-deserved relaxation.
Upon arrival at The Kite, you’ll be welcomed by a curated selection of local food and drinks. An afternoon might consist of exploring the nearby Pemako Farm or soaking up some winter sunshine from the hammock or the swing on the verandah.
When you do finally want to settle in for the night, warm up near the fire brazier, wind down in the indoor (or outdoor) bath, and wake up to views of the garden from the king-size bed.
A trip to The Kite wouldn’t be complete without marvelling at the natural surroundings, which can, of course, be done from the property. Additionally, you can access day-walkable chunks of the Abel Tasman track, or make the 20-minute car trip to the famously idyllic Kaiteriteri Beach.
