Chadstone's $130 million, 12-storey, 250-room luxury hotel is about to welcome its first guests.
When it opens on November 1 as part of the MGallery by Sofitel collection, Hotel Chadstone will have a wellness retreat with day spa, yoga studio and gym; 8 conference and meeting rooms; two restaurants; a lounge bar and a ballroom for up to 400 people.
It'll also have a rooftop with an impressive outlook – on one side there'll be a cocktail bar with views to Port Phillip Bay, and on the other private cabanas beside the swimming pool that look out to the Melbourne city skyline.
There'll also be two restaurants on-site. The first to be announced is Scott Pickett's Pastore, which will combine his passions for Italian dining and woodfired cooking.
Guest rooms, suites and penthouses in the five-star accomodation are decked out in teal or blush tones, and you'll find custom lighting, brass and leather finishes, Appelles bath products, and a minibar stocked with Victorian produce in each.
Hotel Chadstone was designed by architecture firms DWP, EDG and Australia’s Bates Smart, and is managed by AccorHotels. It'll join Chadstone Shopping Centre's retail precinct, which has around 24 million visitors – an estimated 450,000 of which are international tourists – annually.
Rooms start at $270 per night, twin share. For more information and to book, head here.
