What’s the difference between these two things?

Such is the premise for “Versus”, a series which puts two similar ingredients or products side-by-side and explains their differences as briefly and simply as possible. You probably know, for example, that champagne is French and prosecco is Italian. But nationality is just one of several things that separate these sparkling wines. And how about broccoli and it’s slender, elongated cousin, broccolini? The latter is not only much, much younger, it’s also a crossbreed. The accompanying macro photography by Broadsheet ’s Pete Dillon illustrates that even visually similar items are surprisingly different when you look closely enough.
