Sage & Clare’s latest collection Fiesta reimagines the festive season with a fun and quirky take on the Australian summer. Baubles become tiny felted crab and strawberry ornaments, and Christmas stockings become boho additions to any (unused) fireplace.
Fiesta honours the bold and striking patterns true to any Sage & Clare collection, but this time with a more muted summer palette than we’ve previously seen. Think gumtree greens, golden wattle and blackberry, alongside more neutral terracottas, blush and olive to ground the designs.
Made up of an assortment of felted wool “baubles”, there’s bunting in the edit, too. From fresh berries to ice-cream, seafood to cocktails, one variation (the Dashi) brings the brand’s intrinsic sense of play together with everything you’d expect at an Australian festive lunch, while the other (the Abu) puts the Christmas tree centrestage with a string of hangable, artisanal pine silhouettes.
For the environmentally conscious, there’s also a selection of reusable gift wraps, ribbons, pouches and sacks made from leftover fabric in some of the label’s favourite seasonal prints.
And if you’re heading to the beach over Christmas – or you plan to put some in laps at the pool – Sage & Clare has also just released a collection of towels, robes, hats and bags, all in time for summer. The design? A preppy, vibrant finish, of course.
