Hommey Soaks Up a Softer Aesthetic in Its Latest Bathroom Drop

Local label Hommey has built its name on bold colour and sunny stripes. But its second foray into bathroom essentials marks a step away from what we’ve come to expect from the brand; it swaps saturated shades for more earthy, pared-back tones.
The seven-piece capsule includes bath towels, bath sheets, hand towels, face cloths, robes, bath mats and hair wraps – each available in six warm hues: Terracotta, Sandstone, Spice, Fig, Blackberry and Horizon. And a soft chequered pattern runs through the range, adding a more design-conscious edge to Hommey’s typically punchy aesthetic.
Each style is woven from 100 per cent cotton, with a cosy double-sided finish: one side plush velour, the other absorbent terry towelling. The towels are generously weighted at 600gsm – 1200gsm for bath mats – and the robes are cut into a longer, ankle-grazing silhouette that’s well suited to hibernation season.
“This collection represents an evolution of our core line,” said Hommey’s founder Justin Kestelman in a statement. “The new velour and terry blend introduces a fresh aesthetic and elevated sensory experience to your bathing routine and beyond.”
Prices start at $29, with customisable bundle options available online.
