Good things come in pairs – especially when design minds collide. A wave of new collaborations between local and international labels is bringing fresh energy to homewares. There are thoughtful pieces for every corner of the home – whether you’re refreshing the living room, rethinking your bedroom or setting the table in style.

Coco Republic x Rachel Donath

$9
Coco Republic x Rachel Donath
Melbourne interior and furniture designer Rachel Donath describes her aesthetic as minimalist in form, maximalist in detail. So naturally, her 10-piece collection with Aussie furniture label Coco Republic strikes the perfect balance between pared-back ease and sculptural statement. Inspired by the contours of mountainous and fjord landscapes, the collection pairs dark walnut timber and bright oak with textures like leather and Mongolian sheepskin. Jagged stacked blocks define the Sierra console table , while the Torres book display makes a case for a sophisticated feature wall. Other highlights include modular side tables, ottomans, a leather and brass chaise, a playful riff on the director’s chair , and a very chic travertine solitaire game board.

Double x Jono Fleming

Double x Jono Fleming
Double’s machine-washable rugs have quickly become a favourite since the Aussie label launched at the end of 2022. For its latest collection, Wild South , it’s collaborated with interior designer and stylist Jono Fleming on 11 designs inspired by the rugged Tasmanian landscape. Made from 100 per cent New Zealand wool, there’s the abstract Tarkine , evoking the rainforest region’s moss-covered floors; Quoin brings to mind the cobblestone streets of Battery Point; and Cradle , which captures the soft, natural hues of Cradle Mountain’s meadows.

Maison Balzac x Tanora

$9
Maison Balzac x Tanora
You’re probably familiar with Maison Balzac’s cult-favourite glass carafes and goblets. Now, they’ve been reimagined with handwoven raffia sheaths by Sydney-based label Tanora. Each textured sleeve is crafted in Madagascar at founders Manon and Will Wittmer’s family atelier, which honours the country’s rich raffia-weaving traditions. The limited-edition Palamos collection brings a coastal holiday touch to your kitchen cabinet.

Marimekko x Laila Gohar

$9
Marimekko x Laila Gohar
Laila Gohar’s team-up with Finnish fashion and textile brand Marimekko sees the New York-based artist bring her signature whimsy into the bedroom. Think bedding, PJ sets and sleeping masks – the essentials for sweet dreaming. Bold stripes from Marimekko’s print archive are splashed across quilt covers, fitted sheets, pillowcases and cushion covers adorned with bows. There are also ceramics that bring a touch of Gohar’s wacky and wonderful tableware brand Gohar World to the collection. Striped mugs for slow mornings and small trays for snacks in bed. Pick between playful colourways, like sky blue and yellow, or plum and berry red.

Maker & Son x Studio Alm

$9
Maker & Son x Studio Alm
Luxury furniture brand Maker & Son has teamed up with Sydney design gallery Studio Alm to give its signature Song armchair a bold new look. The collaboration features seven graphic covers inspired by the vibrant design language of the Memphis movement , Australian icons Jenny Kee and Linda Jackson, and French modernists Sonia Delaunay and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. Each fabric comes from Swiss textile house Zig Zag Zurich and is made from 100 per cent New Zealand merino wool. Expect inverted checks, geometric prints and a patchwork number.
