Hate Making Your Bed? Aussie Doona Label Bonny Just Launched Sheets to Make It Easier Than Ever

Bonny has won over thousands of Australians with its cosy doonas , but it’s not stopping to rest. The popular bedroom brand is expanding from quilt to full ensemble with its first-ever cotton sheets, made to simplify bed-making for good.
Two years in the making, the new collection is packed with clever features: clearly labelled corners and sturdy elastic on fitted sheets, flat sheets with wide hems for a hotel-style finish, and doona covers with internal ties to keep everything in place. Plus, each set comes wrapped in a reusable elastic “sheet belt” to keep your linen cupboard in order.
“We’re not just making better sheets, we’re helping Aussies make their beds better,” Bonny founder and CEO David Zwier says in a statement. “We innovated by using a traditional underwear elastic [that] has enough tension to actually stay on the bed and won’t try to jump off.”
The fabric is 200-thread-count percale – crisp, breathable and hotel-bed cool – made from GOTS-certified organic cotton. “The industry loves to throw around crazy-high thread counts like they're cricket scores, but 200-thread-count-percale is the sweet spot,” Zwier says.
Colours are soft and easy to pair: butter yellow , cloud white , earthy clay , pink salt , and pops of blueberry and raspberry. You can buy a set in a bundle or mix-and-match colours with Bonny’s “build your own” tool. Prices start at $80 for a single flat sheet, while doona covers range from $120–$200.
As with the label’s doonas, all returned items are donated to local charities supporting refugees, survivors of domestic violence and people seeking secure housing.
The range is available online from August 13 via Bonny’s website.
