Feel Like You’re Always on Vacation With Three New Coastal-Inspired Furniture Collections

What’s better than going to the beach? Having the beach come to you. And while it might be difficult (not to mention impractical) to transport all that sand, seawater and sunshine to your door, you can easily bring the beach vibes home by adding coastal touches to your personal space.
Whether through nautical stripes, sandy beige and terracotta hues, sculptural forms that evoke sandstone cliffs or plush shapes you’d want to lounge under the sun on, aspirational beach house living (sans beach) is in.
These three new collections from Australian furniture labels are making it easier to bring the coast home. And we’ve rounded up some of our favourites from each one – happy shopping.
RJ Living’s Sunlit Forms collection
Inspired by the relaxed energy of seaside living, this collection is all about taking a moment to breathe in and slow down – maybe with an ice-cold bev in hand. Tranquil neutrals, warm timber and rope details bring the coast in, while sculptural curves evoke the ebb and flow of the water. There are pieces for any room in the house – like the Tide chest of drawers for the bedroom, Toto console for the hallway, Fragment nesting coffee tables for the living room and Wyatt rug for, well, anywhere.
Our pick
MCM House’s Club Cabana collection
The Sydney furniture label is all about laid-back Australian living, and its new collection brings beach club vibes into our homes. Specifically, those long lunches and warm summer nights, with dining furniture highlighted in particular. The Rudi Tollop dining chair adds a curvaceous touch to your seating, while the Ardent side table works both indoors and out. The Bayer and Johnson sofa beds also give your guests somewhere to rest if those evenings stretch into the early morning – they’re also the first sofa beds in MCM House’s range.
Our pick
Ellison Studios’ Outdoor collection
While plenty of the pieces in this collection wouldn’t look amiss in the backyard, balcony or an actual beach house, they can also easily be styled indoors. Sculptural shapes, new finishes and functional pieces mean you can seamlessly swap between the two environments. Between the Alva armchair, Stack sun lounge and Earth cocktail table, you won’t even need to book a beach house to catch those sunny vibes.
