When Bed Threads launched in 2017, it was all about sleeping between high quality flax linen without needing a second mortgage to afford it. Now its range includes more than 20 colours across bedding, sleepwear, towels and tablecloths, starting from $50 for a set of four linen napkins.
Today, the Sydney label introduces a new range of 100 per cent French flax linen napkins and placemats, available in five contrasting patterns: white and mineral, pink clay and turmeric, terracotta and rust, sage and olive, lavender and petrol.
The two-toned napkins ($70 for a set of four) and placemats ($80 for a set of four) are trimmed with a scalloped edge inspired by French designer Jean Royère’s signature curved furniture. The idea is to mix and match to make your table as vibrant and entertaining as you are.

SHOP NOWFounder Genevieve Rosen says she wanted to expand Bed Threads’ tableware collection because so many of us are dining at home more than before. “People have embraced home entertaining,” she says. “Cooking for and hosting loved ones has become popular in the same way it was for our grandparents. It’s a revived gesture of love and warmth, and we were inspired to create something extra special (and just a little extra) that can act as a backdrop to this experience.”
