Making travel memories has been on hold of late, so to say we’re keen to get back on the road is a wild understatement. And we want to help you get there.

Wine Selectors – one of Australia’s biggest retailers of local wines – is offering you the chance to win a specially curated jaunt for you and a friend (or special someone) to the Hunter Valley. Exceptional eats, iconic wines, and plenty of modes of travel (think aerial and unhurried, or by four speedy carbon-neutral wheels) await in one of Australia's oldest and most revered wine regions.

Here’s the lowdown:

Never miss a moment. Make sure you're subscribed to our newsletter today.

No need to pack your drone when you can soar over the vineyard-striped landscape in a hot air balloon. Chase your sunrise sky cruise with breakfast at Peterson House. The day’s gourmet adventures commence with a glass of house fizz (the winery makes 40 different kinds of sparkling wine) accompanying your morning eggs.

A private driver from Colourful Collective Travel
will then zip you around to three must-visit wineries. At Scarborough Wine Co., sample a cheese plate between sips of semillon, chardonnay and shiraz from single vineyard sites. Kick back in the lounge at Wine House Hunter Valley while working your way through a wine and chocolate pairing. Then take a seat on the lawn at Saddler’s Creek Wines for a chic food and wine flight.

There’s also a three-course lunch at Muse Kitchen, including a bottle of Keith Tulloch wine, followed by a charter trip to a destination of your choice — perhaps a local brewery or distillery as a palate cleanser. Dinner awaits at Baumé Restaurant at Ben Ean, where the bread is baked in-house and local ingredients pepper the menu.

Wined and dined, you’ll then have two nights of blissful sleep at the luxurious Chateau Elan at The Vintage between excursions. Here, you and your favourite person will both get to indulge in a spa treatment on-site.

Wine Selectors is passionate about connecting wine lovers with boutique and bigwig Australian sips, so it’s also throwing in $1,000 cash for travel expenses and spending money (aka bottles to take home) – a mouth-watering proposition.
