To celebrate Mickey Mouse’s 90th, we asked some of our favourite creators to reflect on Mickey’s relevance and craft a unique item inspired by the character. Mitchell and his team responded with a complex, nostalgic ice-cream cake in Mickey’s signature colours. “Being original means being confident enough to have your own ideas and try to execute them,” says Mitchell of parallels between the character and Messina’s ethos.
