Messina Just Released Gelato Bars in Supermarkets Across Australia

Gelato Messina is an institution in Sydney - back in the '00s when the gelato store only had it's Darlinghurst outpost, it wasn't uncommon to see queues around the block filled with Sydneysiders who had made the pilgrimage from many suburbs away to taste whatever limited-edition flavour was on offer.
Since then, the business has grown to 19 stores across NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT. No longer just a gelato store, Messina offers gelato cakes, bake at home classes and recently collaborated with Peters to create Messina Drumsticks.
While the Drumstick was limited edition, Gelato Messina's latest supermarket drop is permanent. The brand has teamed up with Peters again, this time to make gelato bars. There are three flavours - strawberry cheesecake, espresso dulce de leche and choc hazelnut.
Each gelato bar is encased in a chocolate variety, and use Messina-made ingredients, like their famous dulce de leche and hazelnut sauce. But easily the best part is they're available nationally - the gelato bars are available in Coles, Woolworths and independent grocery store freezer aisles. A box of four will set you back $10.
You'll probably still have to pilgrimage to a Messina store if you want your limited edition flavour fix, but we've gotta say this is a nifty option for late-night sweet tooths.
