Whether you’re shopping Australian fashion, planning your next weekend away or searching for a restaurant recommendation, Broadsheet is usually the best place to look. That’s what we think, anyway. Google and its inscrutable algorithm don’t always agree. Can you imagine?

The good news is, Google recently launched preferred sources, where you can specify your favourite sites and see them first. It’s how you tell the clankers, “I really like Broadsheet – make its stories appear first when I search for something relevant.” That’s right, no more Googling “new restaurants broadsheet”. (Yeah, we see you.)

How to make Broadsheet a preferred source in Google

1. Make sure you’re signed into your Google account and click this link.

2. Tick the box next to “Broadsheet”. That’s it. Thanks for your support and we’ll see you on Google soon.
