Four Summer Smoothie Recipes
It’s summer, and you want to get out the door quickly – whether to the beach, the pool or somewhere with an air con that works better than yours. But you can’t skip breakfast for all the reasons you already know. Plus, there are so many summer fruits to enjoy before they disappear.
Enter the smoothie. Throwing a handful of nutritious ingredients into the blender isn’t hard, and the result is delicious and fast. If you’re extra organised, you can even pre-fill sandwich bags with ingredients and freeze them for future you.
With the help of some of our favourite cafes around the country, we compiled four fail-safe smoothie recipes to try for when you need a health kick in the morning, when you crave a decadent but nutritious after-work snack, or just whenever. Because who doesn’t love a good smoothie?
