Your ticket includes a beverage kit and glassware (delivered in advance), and guided tastings with distillers.

Lot of activities have gone online thanks to the coronavirus restrictions – everything from fitness classes to Friday-night drinks to gigs to crafting. The latest is Fever-Tree’s annual G&T Festival, which debuted in Sydney last year. On Saturday June 13 the festival will go digital, with a bunch of top distillers and Sydney bartenders participating in a 90-minute event packed with masterclasses and guided tastings.

For $55, punters will receive a festival pack with eight gin samples, eight Fever-Tree tonics, garnishes, Fever-Tree glassware, snacks and a tasting mat – and festival access. Bartenders will recommend which tonics and garnishes to pair with the gins, and distillers will talk attendees through the history and distillation process behind their gins. If you already have a packed drinks cabinet and simply want to tune into the talks, the festival is free to attend, sans pack.

A bunch of local and international gin distillers are on board, including Four Pillars, Adelaide Hills Distillery, Hendrick’s and Bombay Sapphire.
