Gelato Messina has already given generously to the NSW Rural Fire Service, Red Cross Australia and Wires, as well as donating tips from all its Sydney outposts.
Now the Australian ice-cream giant has set up the Messina Bushfire Appeal – and if you donate, you go into the draw to win one of 10 golden tickets. To what, you might ask? Brace yourself for this.
The lucky winners will enjoy a Messina gelato cake of choice on their birthday, plus 366 single scoops of gelato (because it’s a leap year) to devour whenever or however they see fit. That’s one scoop every day for a year, or 366 scoops down in one day. Either way, those scoops can be redeemed via the Messina app.
To enter this competition, make a minimum donation of $10 to the Messina Bushfire Appeal via Gofundme before 5pm on Friday, January 17. And the more people who give, the more golden tickets will be released. For example, if the appeal hits $20,000, Messina will give away 20 golden tickets plus 20 birthday cakes. And so on.
Winners will be chosen at random on Monday, January 20 and messaged directly through the Gofundme page. So keep a keen eye on your inbox.
