Dine Out To Cash In: Save on Your Next Meal at Some of Australia’s Best Restaurants

Dining out can be expensive – but it doesn’t have to break the bank. Broadsheet has partnered with NAB on its Bookings With Benefits dining program, which lets you get more for less. Running until December 16 this year, this offer gives $50 off the bill when you spend $250 or more on your NAB credit card at participating restaurants across the country. To access the offer, diners simply need to book via the NAB-exclusive link before dining.
Melbourne
Melbourne’s CBD is dotted with restaurants (and bars) where you can save with Bookings With Benefits. In the mood for Malaysian? Hit the Hot Listed Ho Jiak, which trailblazing chef Junda Khoo has transplanted from Sydney, or sibling beer hall Ho Liao. Prefer Portuguese? There’s Marmelo, chef Ross Lusted’s Hot Listed restaurant at the base of Hyde Melbourne Place hotel. How about Middle Eastern with a modern edge? Head to Shane Delia’s Bond Street fixture Maha, then at next-door bar Jayda.
Over in the 80 Collins precinct, a trio of the Renascence Group’s Melbourne venues are also in on the action. That includes Farmer’s Daughters, a three-level ode to Gippsland; its neighbouring Wine House; and Latin American-inspired cantina Morena Barra.
It’s not all within CBD limits, though. Three inner-city wine bars are taking part in the offer: The Moon in Collingwood, The Alps in Prahran and Milton Wine Shop in Malvern.
Sydney
Want to try Hot Listed Sydney restaurants for less? You’re in luck. A handful are partaking in the Bookings With Benefits party. There’s Redfern’s Attenzione, where Italian food is just the jumping-off point; Newtown’s Bistro Grenier, the Odd Culture Group’s buzzy French bistro; and Haymarket’s Malaysian mainstay Ho Jiak. (Some of their siblings are doing the deal too, including Ho Jiak Town Hall and The Old Fitzroy.)
Elsewhere, you can save at three venues from the Liquid and Larder group’s hospo stable. Check out Redfern’s Eve Hotel to find Mexican rooftop restaurant Lottie and the good-looking Bar Julius, or head to the CBD for Alfie’s, a rule-breaking steakhouse.
Other participating Sydney venues include Gildas, a Basque-inspired Surry Hills wine bar by Firedoor’s Lennox Hastie; Morena, a levelled-up Latin American diner in the GPO building; and Woodcut, a theatrical restaurant on the ground floor of Crown Sydney.
Brisbane
In Brisbane, there are discounts to be found across most of restaurateur Michael Tassis’s eponymous Tassis Group. Go Greek at Opa Bar and Mezze or Yamas, modern Asian at Longwang or Aunty, Italian at Massimo, French at Pompette, or seafood-heavy at Fosh. And if you head to Naldam House in the city, you can luxe it up for less at Cantonese restaurant The Fifty Six or the Terrace. Shane Delia’s Layla is also on the roster.
Adelaide
Down south, a clutch of classic Adelaide restaurants and wine bars are slashing the bill for NAB credit card holders. When you spend $250, save $50 on a produce-powered meal at Peel St, a bistro feast at Longplay, or vino and snacks at Leigh Street Wine Room. Other players include Jake Kellie’s Arkhe and rooftop bar 2KW.
Perth
Representing the west is Pearla & Co, chef Scott Bridger’s North Fremantle restaurant, which is all about seafood – putting local produce front and centre.
Canberra
In the nation’s capital, Barton restaurant Med is part of the program, too. It’s a trip to the eastern Mediterranean, cleverly fusing the cuisines of Greece, Turkey and Lebanon. The Doma Group venue’s contemporaries are also involved, including rooftop bar Leyla, French fine diner Louis, and winery Shaw Estate. Elsewhere, there’s modern Thai eatery Minima.
The Broadsheet Dining Program Special Offer of a $50 discount when you spend $250 or more is available when you dine at a Participating Restaurant between 13 January to 16 December 2026. To be eligible for the Discount Offer, you must make a booking via the NAB Exclusive Booking Link for the Participating Restaurant which is found on the landing page and spend a minimum of $250 on your NAB credit card. The Discount Offer will apply at the Participating Restaurant when you pay the final bill amount including GST and service fees and charges (if any) with your NAB credit card (includes a digital NAB credit card). The Discount Offer is only valid once per booking and will not apply to any split bills and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
