Brisbane-based artist and designer Rachel Burke is probably the sparkliest person in Australia – she’s well-known for her tinsel garments, which have been worn by Mindy Kaling and Drew Barrymore. So when it came to celebrating the 30th anniversary of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, there seemed to be no better creator to mark the occasion.

Burke created a fashion collection inspired by the characters of movie. You can see her collection in person at Hamer Hall in Melbourne, where it will be displayed on September 6 and 7.
