Take Your Pills in Style With Dosey, A Vegan Leather Pill Purse That Comes in Four Colours

Taking your daily pills has never been a glamorous activity. That changed last year with the launch of Australian brand Dosey , a nifty and stylish pill purse that makes taking vitamins or prescription medication... actually kind of nice?

Creator Honor Elliot was 36 when she developed severe gallstones and had her gallbladder removed. With a myriad of pills to take throughout the day, she sought to break the stigma by designing a specialist purse she was proud to whip out at brunch with her friends.

“Before Covid I was travelling quite a bit and I’ve got a nice suitcase and a nice beauty bag, but I had nothing nice to put my put my pills in and I didn’t enjoy using those cheap plastic boxes,” Elliott says. “Every pill-taker is different, so it’s supposed to fit into your own style.”

The vegan leather purses are conveniently labelled with the days of the week and come in four stylish shades: dusty pink, latte, black and sage, with more colours hitting the website later this month. You’ll also find wallets , hard cases and a handy water flask to help you wash down pills on the go.

Each purse comes with reusable zip-lock pouches to provide airtight storage for your pills. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and AM/PM sticker labels ensure you’ll never miss a dose again. It’s caters to daily, weekly, fortnightly and even monthly pill requirements, with travel-friendly bundles available, too.

While it launched first in Australia, Dosey’s popularity has also grown in the US thanks to Tiktok.

“One day I thought I’d start posting on Tiktok and see how it goes,” Elliott says. “One of the videos went viral and I started getting inundated with orders from America.”

As a result, the brand now has an American base and website, with plans to launch in the UK next year.

“It’s such a unique product and it’s so different to anything else that’s out there,” Elliott says. “The response and reviews are just so grateful to have something that is beautiful and represents them and their pill-taking.”
