Street Style: Day Two of Afterpay Australian Fashion Week 2023 Delivers on Drama

Broadsheet photographer Liana Hardy was back on the ground to bring you highlights from day two of Afterpay Australian Fashion Week (see day one here).
Aje opened the morning offsite with an elegant show staged at the Art Gallery of NSW’s Sydney Modern Project. But the flair continued as the crowd returned to Carriageworks in anticipation of shows from Bianca Spender, Eric Yvon, Christian Kimber, Gary Bigeni and Iordanes Spyridon Gogos.
Pink and purple hues appeared to trend with checks, ruffles and sequins adding to the dramatic atmosphere. Anticipation for Wynn Hamyln’s evening event was evident with the New Zealand brand’s signature open-weave wares seen layered throughout the day.
Afterpay Australian Fashion Week runs until May 19.
