Functional and fashionable overalls, sneakers, oversized jackets, and low-rise flared pants round out a seven-piece capsule range, designed with DC Shoes.

Sydney-based athleisure label P.E Nation has partnered with global skatewear label DC Shoes to launch its first snowwear collection.

P.E Nation – known for its street-inspired activewear with retro flare – is having a good year. The label won the National Design Award as part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, on top of debuting its first menswear collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. The designers also launched a merino wool collection with Woolmark at New York Fashion Week.

Their new collaborative seven-piece capsule is made for snowboarders and skiiers, and balances high-performance skiwear with après-snow style.

P.E Nation’s co-founders Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning share a lifelong love of snow, and this latest creative partnership blends their label’s strong street-sport aesthetic with DC’s technical snow styles.

The label’s retro block colours – bright orange, white and black – have been carried through to the new collection. Overalls are functional and fashionable, jackets are oversized, and low-rise pants are flared. You’ll be tempted to wear them whether you hit the slopes or not. Same goes for the matching pair of trainers.

The collection is water-and-wind proof; breathable; and makes use of DC’s weather-defence technology, insulation and lining.

The collection is only available online, at Net-a-porter and the Pe-nation.com.
