The Melbourne label’s new buttery-soft activewear is for planking, (crow) posing, and powering through your nine-to-five.

With the calendar reset, it’s time to rethink your daily staples. And Melbourne label Paire is expanding its signature velvet-like designs beyond silky intimates, cosy socks and timeless basics – into eco-conscious activewear.

At the core of the range is Bioflex, a bio-based material made from recycled corn stalks that have been extracted from straw and regenerated into a nylon fibre.

“Our vision is to replace traditional nylon,” Paire’s co-founder Nathan Yun says. “(It’s) a material prevalent in fitness apparel, but poses a massive risk to our environment.”

The result? A fabric that’s lighter than air, softer than butter and designed to move with your body. Its superior breathability, four-way stretch and sleek, skin-hugging fit promise a little extra flexibility in your crow pose, but also your daily commute.

Designed for all-day comfort and durability, the collection includes the Classic Tank, 6” Shorts, Medium Support Bra, Light Support Bra, and Waist Length Tank, and more. Each minimalist silhouette comes in a range of understated, earthy tones – black, cacao, white and navy – for wardrobe staples that go beyond just workouts.
