Whispering Angel Takeover at the Intercontinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef

Whispering Angel, the cult-favourite rosé from Provence, in south-eastern France, is taking over the Intercontinental Hayman Island Great Barrier Reef for a season-long celebration of sun, sea and poolside sipping to celebrate the resort’s 75th birthday.

The activation sprawls across the Bam Bam and Aqua cabanas by the Hayman’s infinity pool, with golden-hour glasses poured daily during “Angel Hour” (4pm to 6pm) and lawn games with a side of Provence charm. Hop on a paddleboard or play giant Jenga on the lawn – with a glass of Whispering Angel in hand, of course.

If you want to venture beyond the pool, book a Whispering Angel Picnic Experience on the secluded, adults-only Coconut Beach. Starting at $180, the curated picnic includes a premium bottle of rosé and an elaborate sharing platter to boot.

Produced by Château d’Esclans in the heart of Provence, Whispering Angel is made from grenache cinsault and rolle (vermentino) grapes – and its pale colour is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate. Equally suited to sunset drinks as it is to fine dining, Whispering Angel brings a taste of European summer wherever it’s poured.
