Tour Auckland’s Rangitoto Island by Kayak

This sunset tour showcases the best of Auckland’s Waitematã Harbour and beyond, culminating in a visit to Rangitoto Island – the largest of about 50 volcanoes that make up Auckland’s volcanic field. Following a safety briefing and paddling instruction, you’ll kayak across the Waitematã Harbour, where you’ll catch glimpses of Little Blue Penguins and Cook’s Petrels. Then you’ll pull up to Rangitoto Wharf, where you’ll embark on a one-hour trek to the summit, learning about the history of the region along the way. Once at the top, you’ll enjoy unmatched 360-degree views of the Auckland region. Afterwards, you’ll return to the water’s edge and enjoy a Kiwi-style BBQ dinner, before paddling back in the dark, watching the city lights glisten like stars.
