The South Australian Tourism Commission has launched a new online platform, SATV, to spotlight (and support) some of the state’s best businesses and experiences.
Tune in for online cooking classes, cocktail masterclasses, happy hours and wine tastings, as well as nature and wildlife experiences.
Highlights include virtual tours of Coffin Bay Oyster Farm and the Art Gallery of South Australia, plus you can go underwater with sea lions. Also worth checking out: relaxing videos of iconic locations such as Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens, Kangaroo Island’s Remarkable Rocks, and the very pink Lake Bumbunga.
The Pantry Chef series will teach you how to make Anzac biscuits with national treasure Maggie Beer, Africola’s famed tea sandwich with chef-owner Duncan Welgemoed, fried rice with Shobosho’s Adam Liston, and more.
As part of the Happy Hour series, make an Espresso Martini with the team from 23rd Street Distillery or a classic Tom Collins with Lot 100.
Above each video listed on the platform you’ll find a virtual tip jar where you can donate as little as $5 directly to that business operator.
