We’re all more stressed and burnt out lately. And while it’s easy to bottle up those tensions and keep on going, wellness event organiser Wanderlust wants to help you slow down and release your worries.
On World Mental Health Day, it’s hosting a 90-minute Rise session online, with the aim of cultivating calmness and bringing you mindfulness in the morning.
It starts with grounding breathwork and meditation hosted by spiritual guide and leadership coach Tami Roos. Then everyone’s invited to get on the mat for a 40-minute Vinyasa yoga flow for all skill levels with Masha Gorodilova, founder of Happy Melon Studios.
Finally, Rise closes with a reflection workshop hosted by bibliotherapist Dr Susan McLaine, who uses poetry and the written word for mental health and introspection.
General admission tickets cost $29 and include access to all three activities. The premium ticket comes with a self-care starter kit containing a Wanderlust journal, tote bag and wholefood blend delivered for $59. Both options also include four weeks of access to Wanderlust TV content, featuring daily live classes and courses for yoga, meditation, barre, Pilates and more.
From 9am to 10.30am AEST.
