They didn’t leave us High and Dry. A week after Australian fans began finding mysterious postcards emblazoned with “Radiohead 2027” and a QR code linking back to the band’s official merchandise website, Radiohead have announced an Australian tour in May and June next year.
The legendary British rock band will play 16 all-ages shows across Perth, Melbourne and Sydney. It will be the first time the band has played on Australian soil in 15 years.
Tickets will be managed through a registration system to curb automated and “unauthorised” purchases. That system is open right now and will close at 5pm AEST on Thursday, September 10. Fans can only purchase a maximum of four tickets in one city to give as many people a chance to attend as possible.
A $2 donation from every ticket sold will go towards Greenpeace Australia Pacific and the Australian Marine Conservation Society.
