Pinot Palooza Side B
Since its launch in Melbourne in 2012, pinot noir-loving festival Pinot Palooza has expanded to 13 cities in six countries. Considering the state of the world, the festival's organisers have decided to shift the party online this year and introduce a pay-what-you-can model.
The live-streamed event will incoporate all the elements punters have loved about past festivals: tastings, DJs and discussions about the light-bodied vino. DJs Skin Contact and Greg Sara will be on the decks, and there will be live crosses to pinot noir experts in Central Otago and North Canterbury in (New Zealand), as well as the Adelaide Hills and Tasmania.
The festival has also put together a 12-pack of wine tinnies ($85, plus shipping) – equivalent to two-and-a-half bottles – featuring some of its most popular drops from past years. Expect vino from producers including Vinteloper, Garagiste, Good Intentions and Ghost Rock.
From 4pm AEDT.
