It’s undoubtedly Kendrick Lamar’s year (again). The To Pimp a Butterfly artist, and the only rapper to ever win a Pulitzer Prize, performed at the Super Bowl, swept the Grammys with his Drake diss track Not Like Us, and just broke the record for the longest-running number one on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs with his SZA collaboration, Luther.
Today, Lamar announced two Australian dates for his Grand National Tour. In addition to headlining four dates of the Spilt Milk festival this December, Lamar will perform stadium shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
He’ll play Melbourne’s AAMI Park on Wednesday December 3, and Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on Wednesday December 10.
While Lamar is currently co-headlining across North America and Europe with SZA, he’s the sole headliner for the Australian shows.
Vodafone presale starts on Thursday June 12 at 9am for the Sydney show, and 11am for the Melbourne show. Live Nation members can access presale tickets on Friday June 13 from 9am for the Sydney show and from midday for Melbourne. And general-sale tickets can be bought from Monday June 16 at 9am for Sydney, and from midday for Melbourne.
