Jonathan Van Ness: Road to Beijing
Fans of Netflix’s Emmy-winning reality show reboot Queer Eye are in for a treat when the show’s hairstylist and self-care guru, Jonathan Van Ness, hits Australia next year.
Van Ness will be bring his Road to Beijing stand-up show to stages around the country in February 2020. The show is based on his attempts to become a figure-skating champion in time for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
As well as his work on Queer Eye, Van Ness is the Emmy-nominated star of the Gay of Thrones web series – a weekly recap of HBO’s recently concluded Game of Thrones series. He also hosts the highly regarded podcast Getting Curious, featuring wide-ranging discussions with guests that have included Democratic Party politician and Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, film stars Reese Witherspoon and Chris Evans, and musicians Lizzo and Florence Welch.
