While brands across the world are discounting their products for Black Friday (a post-Thanksgiving sale tradition in the US that’s recently gone global, thanks in part to online shopping) and flash sales, Deciem is mixing things up by slowing things down.
The parent company for beauty brands The Ordinary and Niod is discounting every product across the two brand websites by 23 per cent all month. By doing this, the business hopes to encourage people to shop slowly and mindfully, instead of panic-buying sale products they might not actually need.
That means discounts on cult products from The Ordinary, known for its affordable price points and science-based formulas, like Niacinamide 10% and Zinc 1%, Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, Natural Moisturising Factors + HA and the newest addition to the range, Soothing & Barrier Support Serum.
You can also shop items from the Niod range like Modulating Glucosides, Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist and Survival 0.
The brand is completely closing its tills and online store on Friday November 25, in response to the rampant consumerism (and environmental impact) of Black Friday sales.
Take time to evaluate your skincare routine and restock your favourite products. The sale runs until November 30.
