The regional festival celebrates its 25th anniversary with 10 days of music, culture and picture-perfect landscapes in the east Kimberley.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of Kununurra and surrounds, the 2026 Ord Valley Muster leans into everything that has cemented its place on the national events calendar for the last 25 years. Across 10 days in May, the program blends big-ticket performances with deeply local experiences.

The centrepiece is the B2B Kimberley Moon Experience, an open-air concert staged beneath vast Kimberley skies, pairing leading Australian acts with a world-class setting. Gracing the line-up this year are world-renowned singer Tina Arena, indie-folk legends Boy & Bear and next-gen superstar Budjerah. Friday night pub extravaganza, the Muster Idol highlights local talent, while Wonder revisits the greatest one-hit wonders from around the world – featuring a live band brimming with some of the region’s best musicians.

Elsewhere, the Horizon Power Party in the Park delivers a free, family-friendly program of live music, while the Frontier Helicopters Rodeo brings together adrenaline and outback tradition. Comedy in the Park also returns, featuring comedians Eddie Ifft (US), Danielle Walker, Troy Kinne and He Huang.

But the real magic of the Muster lies beyond the headline events. The 2026 program spotlights Indigenous-led experiences, with traditional owners sharing stories, culture and connection to Country through intimate performances and guided encounters. Food, art activations and curated tours round out the festival – whether it’s chasing waterfalls, cruising gorges or settling in for long-table dining under the stars.
