Broadsheet ’s new Dine Out festival, a city-wide celebration of chefs and restaurants, is all about collaboration – the more unexpected, the better.
How about this then? Alejandro Saravia’s vibing Latin American bar, Morena Barra is teaming up with moody Chinese bistro Moonhouse, in Balaclava, for a one-night exploration of chifa, or Chinese Peruvian cuisine.
The generous set menu is all about heat, crunch and clever technique, from crispy pork and chicken wontons with tamarind and aji amarillo, to XO scallops tangled in vermicelli and cured cobia dressed in zingy rocoto oil. Book now, before this one sells out.
