That’s right – you’ll have the entire aircraft to yourselves.

Last week, Tasmania’s summer festival Mona Foma – run by Hobart’s Museum of Old and New Art – announced headline performances by Flying Lotus and Ludovico Einaudi. Now it’s giving you the opportunity to win an entire plane’s worth of seats and tickets for you and your mates to attend the festival. The prize is valued at $99,000 – a significant escalation from last year’s competition.

To win you’ll need to be the first to find the purple and yellow Air Mofo party plane hidden on Mona Foma’s map of Tassie. Clues will be released online (with extra hints for Air Mofo subscribers) starting today, Friday October 4, and the actual plane can be found between October 10 and 14. The winner will then get to choose 149 of their friends, family, neighbours, or strangers to bring along. Each person will get a festival pass and a return flight home too.

Winners will board Air Mofo from either Melbourne or Sydney and will land in Launceston on Friday, January 17 in time to kick off the main festival weekend. Expect more than your average plane ride, with Mona Foma-inspired in-flight entertainment and performances making the trip one to remember.
