To the mind of French burlesque performer Sucre d’Orge, the art of burlesque is about connecting with the audience and making them happy – while also being “your own superhero”. But before that can happen, Sucre says you have to learn relax and be yourself, even on stage.

d’Orge was in Sydney as part of the Le Burlesque Klub troupe to perform at Paris by Night, presented by L’OR Espresso. The exclusive event celebrated French-inspired live music, aerial artists, fire breathers, stilt walkers, drinks and authentic French food.
