Even among the most serious music fans you’d be hard pressed to find someone who hasn’t dropped their guard at least once for a living-room dance to Kylie Minogue. So probably more people than will admit to it will be happy to know that next year she’s touring her new album Golden around Australia for the first time.
Australia’s queen of pop has released some moments of certified pop genius, from early hits like I Should Be So Lucky to Come Into My World and monster smash Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.
Minogue’s new album Golden was recorded in Nashville and there's a country swagger to many of the tracks. She’ll play songs off that record alongside some classic Kylie when she touches down in March at a series of arena shows and special Day on the Green performances at Australian wineries. Minogue will be joined on the tour by Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears and Brisbane singer Hatchie.
