Australia’s own pastel princes, Client Liaison, have just announced the next stage in their entrepreneurial master plan.

In an aggressive bid for market share in Australia’s festival circuit, the band will bring Expo Liaison to a city near you (sorry Adelaide). Think seven hours of music, fashion and golden handshakes.

“This is an exhibition of all things Client Liaison,” says band member Monte Morgan in a promotional video released on Thursday.

His bandmate Harvey Miller says punters can expect first-class facilities and that “leisure and comfort” is the band’s “number one priority”, given the festival will be staged in winter.

Triple J has also reported the band will premiere new music at the festival.

Several other Australian bands have also launched their own festivals in recent years, including the King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard run Gizzfest, and the Smith Street Band’s Pool House Party.

Client Liaison’s market domination doesn’t stop with Expo Liaison, though. Later this month the band will release its debut fashion collection, the Client Liaison Deluxe Line, at Australian Fashion Week – stay tuned for Broadsheet’s feature with the band.
