Tickets for rapper Childish Gambino’s Australian tour in November just got a whole lot more covetable.

American polymath Donald Glover has announced that his current tour, This Is America, will be his fans’ last chance to see him perform as Childish Gambino.

The tour stops off in Australia in November for sold-out shows in Sydney and Melbourne. There are still tickets left for his show in Perth.

The rapper, actor and writer made the announcement during a show in Atlanta on September 6.

"Number one, if you're at this show, then you know this is the last Gambino tour ever," said Glover in footage that was uploaded to Reddit by a fan in the front row.

"If you're not here to celebrate life. If you're not here to enjoy your time here. If you're here to just hear your favourite song, then you should go home right now and do that," continued Glover. "I'm here to have an experience with y'all tonight, y'all feel me?

"This is not a concert, this is fucking church."

Last Friday Glover shared two new tracks, All Night and Algorhythm in an email to ticket holders saying, “These songs are not complete. But it is important for u to be familiar with them in order to participate, and therefore fully enjoy the experience.

“Please do not share these songs. These songs are for people attending the show only. Keep this within our community. Thank u. And I will see u soon.”

Glover has already announced that the unnamed follow up to his critically acclaimed third album, 2016’s Awaken My Love!, will be his last recorded work as Childish Gambino.

As well as performing as Childish Gambino, Glover works as a comedian, writer, director and actor. He’s most well known for writing and starring in Atlanta, and his roles in Solo: A Star Wars Story and NBC comedy series Community.
