Introducing: Broadsheet New Zealand

We’ve missed our Kiwi mates.
And we’ve missed their pretty coastal hamlets, walking the South Island’s windblown scenic tracks, sipping craft beer at inner-city distilleries in the North Island and – after getting expert recommendations from in-the-know locals – working our way through every coffee shop, hole-in-the-wall burger joint, fine diner and artisan bakery across the country.
There’s really no better or more instinctive place for Broadsheet to go next than New Zealand. So, we took the plunge.
Today we’re launching a project we’ve been thinking about for a very long time: Broadsheet New Zealand. A go-to resource for Aussies wanting to discover the very best of New Zealand through delicious, unusual and otherworldly experiences we can’t get in our own backyard.
Our New Zealand-based editor, Rosie Herdman, will be on the ground to share the very best the country has to offer, covering food and drink; travel and adventure; art and design; and fashion. Because the best way to understand and enjoy a city, or a town, or a whole country, is to do it as the locals do.
They know it best: the hidden gems, the worthiest classics, the non-negotiable stops on your itinerary. It’s how we’ve always approached our own cities, so why should it be any different across the Tasman?
We’re excited to get started. We hope you enjoy the ride (or flight) as much as we do.

Broadsheet New Zealand is presented in partnership with, and made possible by, Tourism New Zealand.
