Maybe you’re part way into scaling a giant cliff face and really want a nip of Scotland’s finest. Perhaps you just want your soup to still be warm when you get to the top of the mountian. Or you want something tough enough to take into the mosh pit at a festival. Dilemmas like these were the design inspiration for The Traveller, a new flask from Melbourne design duo Denver & Liely.
The Traveller is a tough, adventure-ready drinking flask built of food-grade double-walled stainless steel to maintain the smell, taste and temperature of any liquid. The outside wall’s patina will change over time to reflect its owner’s adventures.
To keep the flask secure and portable a thick leather ring around its neck is attached to a stainless-steel carabiner, which can be attached to a bag or belt loop.
The flask’s designers are known for their purpose-built spirits glasses, such as their very specific whisky glass and highly specialised gin glass that are a combination of a tumbler and tulip-style vessel. The Traveller features the same curvaceous profile as other Denver & Liely products.
The Travller by Denver & Liely retails for $150. It’s available online.
