According to co-owner Nina Fitzpatrick, Green Space Melbourne was born out of a desire to bring dreary spaces “to life”.

The small event-styling business began two years ago, growing from a plant retailer to a full-scale plant-hire operation. In the video above, Fitzpatrick explains how developing the business and building Green Space’s brand (which involved a lot of networking and social media know-how) required her to stay nimble and make adjustments to meet her clients’ changing demands.

“I absolutely believe in luck,” she says. “At the end of the day, everything comes together for a reason.”
