DIY Gift Hampers at Diio, a New Online Shop With Heaps of Ideas for the Perfect Present

Diio is a new online gift shop where you can build custom gift boxes with personalised stationery,
bougie candles, jigsaw puzzles, and locally made gins and chocolates. Its difference is that
you can build a custom gift box by choosing from various products on the site.

There are Black Blaze candles, Journey of Something puzzles, Kip & Co aprons, Migoals journals
and Australian food and drink, such as McClures pickles and Four Pillars gin. There’s also Marvis
toothpaste, natural deodorants, cookbooks and paddling pools. So you can get creative with your
pick ‘n’ mix gifts.

The name Diio is inspired by the Greek word dýo meaning “for two”. Founder Peta Spyrakis,
whose parents migrated to Australia from Greece, wanted to celebrate the bonds that strengthen
between two people when they exchange gifts.

“We were constantly searching for gifts worthy of our friends,” she says. “Gifts that would make
them smile, gifts that made them know we were thinking of them, and gifts that arrived in style.”

The store also sells themed hampers. Choose by occasion, such as birthdays, thank yous and
housewarmings or “Welcome to the World”, which has gifts for new parents such as baby books and eco-conscious teethers.

Once you’ve put your box together, you can add a custom note. Or, if a gift hamper isn’t quite
right, Diio’s products can be purchased individually.

Diio delivers Australia-wide, with free delivery on orders over $100. Same-day delivery is available
in Sydney only.
